A sweet rural romance set in a tiny Western Australian town. I related well to Natalie and found her a likeable character. I particularly enjoyed the school scenes as I work in a school and also love the smell of the laminator. The plot was a little predictable, but it felt right and I was happy with how it all turned out. I work with children with additional needs and I love meeting characters with additional needs and seeing them portrayed in a positive light.
I received this book free from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. This is the first book I've read by Fiona Palmer and I'll definitely read more of her work.
